Politics are really intense

I was watching coverage of the Democratic National Convention and it reminded me just how intense politics are!

They all yell at each other and call each other names, but they do it in really nice ways.

I just know that I can’t wait to put in my vote.

I could never SURVIVE in politics.

Way to crazy.

Olympics are over!

I watched the closing ceremony. It was cool, but not as cool as the opening one.

I really enjoyed watching these games. I think it sucks that China cheated so much, but as long as everyone turns a blind eye they will get away with it.

Michael Phelps is crazy. He is going to destroy everyone in 2012 in London. I can’t wait!

I hope that 1 time in my life I can actually go an Olympics and see it live with my own eyes. I can’t even imagine the excitement and feeling in the air at a place like that.

Olympics are cool

I think what makes them so special is the whole “every 4 years” angle…. it’s cool to see everyone so into an event.

I can’t wait until the next Olympics.

Totally awesome shoes

I woke up today and realized. HOLY CRAP I NEED A NEW PAIR OF SHOES! Do you ever feel that way?

Just that urge to go spend and shop.

It’s crazy how easily you can be overcome with desires to buy something. I think part of living in America is being constantly bombarded by corporate messages.

So I recognized this and didn’t fall prey to my need for shoes. Instead I went to the gym and got some work done.

But it’s scary to think that they can really make you feel a NEED to buy something.

Well today was nice. I like blogging.

Summer goes by way too fast

Wow it’s already the end of July. I can’t believe summer is almost over!!!!

Ahhh!!!!!!!!!!

Everything in summer is nice. The weather, the people, the views, etc.

Ok, going to enjoy it while it lasts

July 4th is great

I had a nice relaxing time with my family and friends over the July 4th break.

I feel like there aren’t too many breaks in late Spring/Summer in terms of Holidays and so it’s certainly nice to get an excuse to get away, and be with people you love.

Now it’s back to the routines, work, and daily life.

My new blog

I’ve tried blogging before and never had the patience to really do it, but I think this time is for real!

This is going to be a nice way for me to discuss my ideas, clear my mind of thoughts, and meet some cool people out there in the blogging community.

This should be fun.
